We are starting a new 8-week mindfulness training program (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, MBSR) to help manage stress and reduce anxiety and tension through mindfulness and self-awareness practices (based on Jon Kabat-Zinn’s MBSR program).

We invite anyone who would like to:

  • strengthen a sense of control when facing difficulties and challenges;
  • reduce stress and tension that show up even during everyday tasks;
  • quiet repetitive thoughts about the past or ongoing worry about the future;
  • respond more calmly when emotions take over and decisions feel less considered;
  • break patterns of repeated difficulties at work or in personal relationships;
  • stop seeing everything in black and white;
  • be more present — instead of living for the weekend from Monday and missing the moment when spring returns after winter;
  • bring more color into life and experience a greater sense of fullness and meaning.

During the program, we will focus mainly on direct experience. We will briefly introduce the theory and then practice step by step to build mindfulness skills:

  • stay grounded in the present moment and connect more deeply with yourself and your surroundings;
  • notice and let go of what isn’t working;
  • strengthen and sustain attention on what matters;
  • open up to the full range of experience;
  • respond more calmly in stressful situations;
  • reduce tension and anxiety and tolerate difficult moments more easily;
  • make more intentional, well-considered decisions;
  • develop patience, kindness, and compassion for yourself and others.

Location and schedule
We will meet once a week for 2-hour sessions, on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM, at Romuva Clinic (Rotušės a. 23, Kaunas).

In a supportive group setting, we will practice together through guided exercises and meditation, share experiences in a safe environment, and build new skills that support meaningful change. To reinforce what you learn, you will also practice independently every day — observing and exploring your experience, getting to know yourself better, and shaping your days in ways that feel most helpful.

Course fee
